What is Cost & Stock Management?

How to set up Cost & Stock Management?

To enable Cost & Stock synchronization, you need to go to the Product List and click on the "Auto Update" option. You can also choose whether to update the product and variant in Shopify based on the stock and price changes from AliExpress.

Notification

When the product is out of stock, variant is out of stock, or supplier price increases, you will receive a notification when any of these events happen, so you can take action accordingly. You can also view and manage the notifications in the app dashboard.



In order to receive notifications, you’d first need to turn on the auto update feature for each product.

Automatic update

Ali Orders will automatically update the inventory information of your products in-app but also in your online e-commerce store. This way, the data will be similar to the stock available from your AliExpress supplier. You also have the possibility to render a product automatically unavailable in your store if it’s out of stock on AliExpress and update your new price product based on the Pricing rule. This way, you can avoid selling out-of-stock products or losing money due to price changes.

When the product is either out of stock or no longer available on AliExpress, you can set for it to automatically set as draft on your Shopify store. Also, If a variant is out of stock and not available, you can set for the corresponding variant of your Shopify product to automatically set the quantity to zero.

Another thing you could set is the price. Whenever the suppliers increase their prices to a certain percentage of your choosing, you can set for your Shopify products to automatically update the prices based on the Pricing rules. Learn more about Pricing rules here.
