What Is Ali Orders Variant Mapping?

In order to benefit from dropshipping, you will need to make sure that your products are set up correctly. Each product from your online store should be linked to an AliExpress supplier and each variant of the product should be connected to a corresponding variant from a supplier. This is what Variant mapping is for.

Why Is Variant Mapping Important?

Variant mapping gives you the opportunity to hand-pick the AliExpress suppliers you want for the products in your online store. You can choose which variant of your product is linked to a specific variant of your supplier, making sure your supplier will ship exactly what you want to your customers!

Here's the guide on how to do it.

Go to Ali Orders => Products => Choose Mapping product on the product card.



In Config Mapping, access the “Mapping variant” tab and select “Variant Group” or “Per Variant”.

Replaced Product

In case you want to choose another supplier, kindly Click on “Replaced Product” and add a product by pasting the URL of your AliExpress product in the field and click the search icon. The product will be completely replaced by the new one.



Then, your AliExpress product and the variants will appear like below. Select for the images and the corresponding color of each variant.



Once you are done, don’t forget to SAVE!
